Pastor Mahalia Renae Chaney

Pastor Renae Chaney was born August 26, 1965 in Waldo, Arkansas to Minister Lee Otis and Lizzie Dockery (Eddie Massey). She is the oldest of four children; one brother Larry (Yolanda) and two sisters Angelia and Sharon. She is married to Joe N. Chaney Jr. (Lou). They have been married for over 24 years. They have four wonderful children Jason (Tanisha), Justin (LaRay), Marcus and Mariah. They have also been blessed with the opportunity to raise their niece La’niqua. They have three grandchildren Jaylen, Angelya and Kamari.
Pastor Renae has been a resident of
Lorain County for forty-nine years. She is employed by the NASA Glenn Research
Center/TFOME II-MSM Group Inc. in Cleveland, OH. She is a graduate of Ohio
Business College where she earned her Associates Degree in Applied Business
Administrative Assistant with a major in Medical and Northeast Ohio School of
Ministry where she earned a bachelor’s degree in the Arts of Biblical Studies/Theology
and many other leadership achievement certificates.
At the early age of eleven Pastor Renae accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She attended the Body of Christ Church for many years under the leadership of the late Bishop James Hannibal. She was an active member of the youth choir under the tutelage of the late Sis. Brenda Hannibal.
In 1995 Pastor
Renae became a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church under the headship
of the late Reverend Cornelius Spraggins. Pastor Renae was a member of the New
Bethel Mass Choir (directed by Pastor Earnest and the late Debra Battle) and
she also served as the Assistant Secretary of the Usher Board.
Pastor Renae served as a Board Member, Secretary, and where ever she was needed, for seven years for the Messengers of God Inc., a non-profit youth organization under the leadership of the Executive Director Mazzie Garrett.
Pastor Renae joined the “Worriers for Christ” an Intercessory prayer group in 1998 and “The Expressions of True Worship” dance ministry in 2001 under the guidance of Apostle Margie E. Mitchell.
On May 20th, 2001 Pastor Renae became a member of True Worship Fellowship Church under the headship of Apostle Margie Mitchell where she performed many administrative duties and soon afterwards the Lord led her to join their ministry team. She became faithful and committed to the call. In 2002 she received her certificate of completion for “The Preacher and His Preaching”. In 2005 she was ordained and licensed to minister the gospel. Pastor Renae also served as the assistant Pastor of True Worship Fellowship for five years. She has taught ministers class, Sunday school, New Beginners classes, bible studies and organized many services, conferences and community outreach events. In 2010 Pastor Renae became the CEO, Founder and Senior Pastor of Renewal & Deliverance Outreach Ministry and performs many ministerial and administrative duties.
